Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Kitchen Hand/Cook to join our team. Duties
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients
- Support the cooking process by following recipes and instructions from senior kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and utensils
- Ensure all food safety standards and hygiene regulations are adhered to at all times
- Help with meal assembly and presentation to ensure quality standards are met
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Support serving staff during busy periods by delivering prepared dishes promptly
- Assist in cleaning kitchen equipment and work surfaces regularly to uphold health standards
Skills
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
