An established specialist SEND school in the Sutton area is seeking a passionate and adaptable Upper School Teacher to join their team from September.
The school supports pupils with a range of complex learning needs and is committed to delivering a personalised curriculum that develops academic achievement, independence, communication and preparation for adulthood.
No specific subject specialism is required as the successful candidate will teach across multiple classes and curriculum areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across the curriculum.
- Support pupils with a range of SEND needs.
- Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP outcomes.
- Work closely with support staff, families and external professionals.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Contribute to annual reviews and school-wide initiatives.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching children or young people with SEND desirable.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to inclusive education.
