The Role:
Are you currently studying towards your AAT or ACA/ACCA qualification, or already building your experience within practice? Join our Dudley team as an Accounts Semi-Senior where you'll support a varied portfolio of clients, develop your technical expertise, and work closely with experienced professionals across accounts and taxation services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing year end and management accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Preparing corporation tax computations and supporting company tax compliance.
- Liaising with clients to request and manage information efficiently.
- Ensuring files are completed accurately and delivered to deadlines.
- Supporting senior team members and managers with client work and ad hoc assignments.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of accounting and tax regulations.
- Recording chargeable time accurately and supporting billing processes.
- Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- AAT qualified or studying ACA/ACCA (or equivalent).
- Experienced in preparing accounts within a practice environment.
- Familiar with accounting software including Xero and Sage; experience with CCH would be advantageous.
- Experienced in preparing corporation tax computations.
Additional Requirements:
- Punctual, organised, and able to manage your workload effectively.
- A strong communicator with excellent client service skills.
- Able to drive and travel when required.
