We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Operational Team Leader to join our team and drive excellence in daily operations. Supporting operational teams, internal staff and ensuring we fulfil all contractual
obligations from event partners. Evaluating, scheduling/work assignments, work
procedures and resolving conflicts.
Responsible for mandatory vetting employees to continue/improve the overall growth
and performance of the business and manage with ad-hoc tasks ensuring all deadlines
are achieved. Overseeing the day-to-day operations within the
organisation and identifying areas for improvement. Supporting staff with welfare issues to
ensure staff engagement and trust is built. Assisting the regional operation director.
Duties
- Lead and motivate a team of operational staff to meet daily performance targets and uphold quality standards
- Coordinate workflow schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of all activities
- Conduct analysis of operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic solutions
- Oversee clerical processes such as documentation, record keeping, and reporting to maintain accuracy and compliance
- Facilitate communication between team members and management to promote transparency and collaboration
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, company policies, and regulatory requirements at all times
- Organize training sessions and development initiatives to enhance team skills and efficiency.

Skills
- Strong analysis skills to interpret operational data and inform decision-making
- Proven clerical experience with attention to detail in documentation and record management
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop team members
- Clear communication skills for effective interaction across different levels of the organization
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances
- Promote staff engagement, ensuring staff understand their importance within the business structure. Remain visible daily allowing staff to discuss any welfare issues with you and signpost staff accordingly to ensure they receive the support required
- Fulfill all contractual obligations from events and partners, providing operational staff fulfilment is key
- Escalate cases of dropped shifts, identify trends of absence and addressing with staff members to support/maintaining our staff welfare
- General administration duties, filing, diary management, phone queries
- Compile Wage reconciliation accurately for approval
