Maintenance Team Lead
Location: Willenhall, West Midlands
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 + Bonus + On-Call Payments + Excellent Benefits

A well-established UK manufacturing business is looking for a Maintenance Team Lead to join its site in Willenhall. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineering supervisor or senior maintenance engineer to lead a small maintenance team while remaining actively involved in fault-finding, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement activities across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the site maintenance team
- Ensure safe working practices and regulatory compliance
- Take ownership of the preventative maintenance system
- Carry out and oversee electrical fault-finding and diagnostics
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and coordinate repairs
- Manage contractor activity and site maintenance schedules
- Inspect plant, equipment, and facilities to ensure safe operation
- Maintain accurate maintenance records to meet legal and insurance requirements
- Support continuous improvement and 5S initiatives
About You
- Experience in a maintenance engineering environment, ideally with supervisory or team lead responsibility
- Strong electrical maintenance and fault-finding skills
- Electrical installation, testing, or maintenance qualifications would be advantageous
- Organised, proactive, and able to lead by example
- Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Experience with overhead cranes, hoists, or heavy industrial equipment would be beneficial

Working Hours
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, worked in 8-hour shifts between 06:00 and 22:00 (excluding a 1-hour lunch break).
