We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cafe Counter Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing food items, and ensuring the smooth operation of the counter area. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately at the counter
- Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverage items in accordance with health and safety standards
- Handle cash transactions and operate the till efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area, including food prep stations.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure availability during busy periods
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times
Skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Previous experience in serving customers is advantageous
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Kitchen or culinary experience is beneficial but not essential
All candidates must be 18 or over.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
