Job Overview
Flydry is a commercial laundry business based at Gallions Reach, East London. We serve hotels and serviced accommodation, sports clubs, gyms, restaurants and event venues.etc. with fast turnaround from our own facility. We are growing our commercial client base and need a dedicated salesperson to drive it.
This role will involve you to track , pitch and win new commercial laundry accounts across East London and the wider city. You report to the Commercial Manager, who sets targets, agrees pricing with you and supports on larger deals. This is a field and phone role, not a desk role. You are measured on converted accounts, not activity.
Hours: 16 hours per week, worked as two full days or four half days, agreed flexibly with the Commercial Manager based on pipeline and follow-up needs.
Pay: £12.71 per hour plus uncapped commission.
Location: Based at our Gallions Reach facility with regular travel to prospects across East and Central London
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with company goals to increase market share and brand visibility.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
- Create engaging marketing materials using Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Office tools to support sales pitches and client meetings.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams through effective communication and organizational skills.
- Build and work a pipeline of commercial prospects: Aparthotels, Airbnb property managers, sports clubs, gyms, restaurants and event venues.etc.
- Hit agreed targets: a minimum number of qualified meetings per week and new accounts per month, set with the Commercial Manager
Skills
- Fluency in English with exceptional communication skills for diverse audiences.
- Strong analysis skills to interpret market data, sales figures, and campaign results.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and forecasting purposes.
- Solid understanding of general marketing principles coupled with IT literacy for utilizing various digital tools.
- Excellent organizational skills paired with effective time management to meet deadlines consistently.
- B2B sales experience preferred, ideally selling a service to hospitality, facilities, leisure or property businesses. Comfortable with cold outreach and walking into a venue to ask for the decision maker. Organised, self-managing and honest about pipeline reality.
- Knowledge of East & Central London and its business landscape is a strong advantage
- Right to work in the UK mandatory.
