Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team for evening office cleaning in the City Centre. This role involves maintaining a clean and hygienic environment in commercial premises, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are upheld. The position is scheduled for 1.5 hours each evening, five days a week, providing an excellent opportunity for those seeking flexible part-time work. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. The successful candidate will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional workspace for staff and visitors alike.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of office spaces, including desks, floors, windows, and communal areas
- Ensure restrooms and kitchens are hygienic and well-stocked with necessary supplies
- Dispose of waste responsibly and maintain recycling procedures
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products to achieve high standards of cleanliness
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning activities
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Maintain a tidy and organised work environment throughout the shift
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to work efficiently and independently during scheduled hours
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleanliness standards
- Reliable with good time management skills to complete tasks within the allotted time frame
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including lifting and bending as required
- Flexibility to work evenings on weekdays; punctuality is essential

Pay: £13.33 per hour
