Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to facilitate the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. This role requires a keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Hours: 38hpw, rotating weekly shifts ( Additional weekly shift allowance)
(Week 1 Monday- Thursday 06:00-14:30 and Friday 06:00-12:00, Week 2 Monday- Thursday 14:30-23:00 and Friday 12:00-18:00)

Duties
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- To ensure Kanbans and Ebans are clocked in a timely manner
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all items are accounted for and properly stored.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain an organised warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Conduct heavy lifting and materials handling as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
Skills and Experience required:
- Proficient in operating forklifts with a valid in date counterbalance and reach license.
- Experience in materials handling, including load unloading techniques.
- Ability to perform basic maths for inventory management and record keeping.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous.
- Capable of performing heavy lifting as part of daily responsibilities.
- Excellent organisational skills with a focus on safety and efficiency in the workplace.
