Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional individuals to join our team as Waitresses and Bar Staff. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service in a lively hospitality environment. Successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring guests have a memorable experience by providing attentive service, maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere, and supporting the smooth operation of the venue. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. A friendly demeanour, good organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are key qualities for this position.
Duties
- Greeting guests warmly and taking their orders with attentiveness and professionalism
- Serving food and beverages promptly and accurately, ensuring presentation standards are met
- Handling payments accurately using POS systems and providing correct change
- Maintaining cleanliness of tables, bar areas, and service stations throughout shifts
- Replenishing stock levels at tables and bar areas as needed
- Ensuring compliance with food safety standards and health & safety regulations
- Assisting in setting up and clearing tables during busy periods
- Engaging with guests to create a welcoming environment and answer any enquiries
- Supporting team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours
Skills
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on delivering excellent customer service
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices within the hospitality industry
- Experience in serving food and beverages in a fast-paced environment (preferred)
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Effective time management to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Ability to work well within a team while maintaining a friendly attitude
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a lively setting
