About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Bar Team Member to join our Front of House team. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality bar service across The Motorist, preparing and serving a wide range of drinks while ensuring every guest receives friendly, professional and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities
· Deliver excellent customer service from the bar, maintaining a friendly and professional approach at all times
· Take drink orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations where appropriate
· Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to a high standard, ensuring presentation and quality meet expectations
· Maintain cleanliness, organisation and stock levels across all bar areas
· Support the setup and operation of bars for events and functions (M&E) where required
· Work collaboratively with the wider Front of House team to ensure smooth and efficient service
· Handle customer queries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
· Follow all licensing requirements, Challenge 25 procedures, health & safety and food hygiene regulations
Person Specification
- Previous bar or hospitality experience is essential.
- Experience preparing and serving a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks is desirable.
- Confident working independently and as part of a team during busy service periods.
- Proactive, positive and hands-on approach.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible working hours are essential, including weekends and some late evenings
Typical Working Conditions
This role involves long periods on your feet and working in a dynamic bar and hospitality environment with varying demands throughout the week, including peak trading periods and large-scale events.
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
