Given our location in Nun Monkton between York and Harrogate off the A59, it is essential to have your own transport.
In addition to the hourly rate, the successful candidate will receive a share of the tronc.
The role will be primarily Friday and Saturday but we would be able to offer more hours if required subject to the demands of the business.
Previous housekeeping experience would be ideal.
Duties
- Assist with daily cleaning and tidying of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure they meet cleanliness standards
- Replenish supplies such as toiletries, linens, and amenities to enhance guest comfort
- Follow established cleaning procedures
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
- Support our Head Housekeeper in organizing storage areas and inventory management
- Maintain a friendly, professional attitude when interacting with guests and team members
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times
Experience
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with guest service standards
- Janitorial or cleaning experience that highlights your ability to efficiently maintain cleanliness in busy environments
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to completing tasks thoroughly and accurately
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards guest service and teamwork
