Overview
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Temporary Catering Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be organised, customer-focused, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience is not essential, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are highly valued.
Duties
- Assist in setting up catering areas, including arranging tables, chairs, and serving stations
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and professional manner
- Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to at all times
- Help with general cleaning duties to maintain a tidy working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in catering is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work well within a team and independently when required
- Flexibility to work during weekends
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting light loads
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn about food service standards and procedures
Pay: £8.00-£14.00 per hour
