Warehouse Supervisor – 22.00 start ( 9hr shift )

Salary: £32,760 – £33,930 per annum (DOE)

This is a hands-on leadership role. We're looking for someone who leads from the front, isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and muck in alongside the team, while creating a positive culture where people feel supported, challenged and motivated to succeed.
The Role
You'll be responsible for leading your shift, ensuring the warehouse operates safely, efficiently and accurately whilst delivering outstanding customer service and achieving operational KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Warehouse Operatives.
- Lead by example and work alongside the team to achieve daily objectives.
- Ensure customer orders are picked, loaded and despatched accurately and on time.
- Maintain stock accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
- Liaise with the Transport Team to ensure smooth vehicle loading.
- Champion Health & Safety, Food Safety and housekeeping standards.
- Monitor team performance, productivity and attendance.
- Conduct one-to-one meetings and return-to-work interviews.
- Complete effective shift handovers.
- Drive continuous improvement and encourage new ideas.
About You
You'll have:
- Previous experience leading a warehouse team.
- Strong leadership skills with the confidence to coach, motivate and challenge where appropriate.
- A hands-on approach with a willingness to muck in and support the team.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Experience using WMS and Microsoft Office.
- A passion for developing people and delivering operational excellence.
