Community Engagement Officer
Fixed Term Contract: 2 Years
Are you passionate about using sport to bring people together, create memorable experiences and make a real difference in the community? This is a brilliant opportunity to join a team that puts inclusion, energy and local impact at the heart of everything it does.
We are looking for a confident, organised and enthusiastic Community Engagement Officer to help deliver exciting community projects.
About the role
This is a varied, people-focused role where no two days will feel the same. One day you could be supporting disability sport sessions or working with schools, and the next you could be helping to create a brilliant matchday experience for supporters, families, community groups and partner organisations.
You will play a key part in delivering Premier League Fans Fund activity, championing equality, diversity and inclusion, and creating opportunities that help people feel welcome, involved and inspired through sport.
What you’ll be doing
- Planning and delivering fun, inclusive community events, sport sessions and engagement activities.
- Bringing matchdays to life through creative activations that connect the club with local people.
- Supporting disability sport, SEND provision, pan-disability football, multisport and Boccia opportunities.
- Building strong relationships with schools, community groups, charities, local authorities, supporters’ groups and partners.
- Championing inclusion through activities such as Open Iftar, LGBTQ+ football and other community initiatives.
- Collecting feedback, monitoring participation and helping tell the story of the impact being created.
About you
You will be a positive, approachable and motivated team player who enjoys working with people and making things happen. You will be confident building relationships, planning activities and communicating with a wide range of audiences.
You should bring a genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and Special Educational needs, equality, diversity and inclusion, a good understanding of barriers to participation, and the confidence to deliver safe, engaging and inclusive sessions for people from different backgrounds and communities.
Why join us?
This is a chance to be part of meaningful work that reaches far beyond the pitch. You will help create moments that build confidence, connection and belonging, while working with passionate colleagues, partners and community members who care about making a positive difference.
If you are ready to bring energy, creativity and commitment to a role where sport has the power to open doors, we would love to hear from you.
