Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Streetworks Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) to support our delivery of Streetworks reassessment qualifications awarded by Qualifications Scotland (formerly SQA).
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Streetworks professional with quality assurance experience to work with a growing assessment centre delivering online reassessment examinations.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the named Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) for the centre.
- Develop and maintain internal quality assurance procedures.
- Monitor assessment and invigilation practices to ensure compliance.
- Verify assessment processes and centre documentation.
- Ensure candidate authentication and assessment integrity.
- Support centre approval and ongoing compliance with Qualifications Scotland requirements.
- Prepare for External Quality Assurance (EQA) visits and unannounced monitoring.
- Maintain accurate IQA records and quality assurance documentation.
- Provide guidance and support to assessors and invigilators.
- Ensure compliance with Streetworks Assessment Strategy requirements.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Occupational knowledge and experience within the Streetworks industry.
- A recognised Internal Quality Assurance qualification, including one of: - Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (TAQA) , L&D11 , V1 Internal Verifier Award, or D34 Internal Verifier Award
- Or be actively working towards one of the above qualifications.
- Excellent understanding of quality assurance processes.
- Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain regulatory compliance.
Desirable
- Current or previous Streetworks qualifications.
- Experience working with Qualifications Scotland (formerly SQA), City & Guilds or CABWI.
- Understanding of HAUC Streetworks Assessment Strategy requirements.
Pay: £30.00-£50.00 per hour
