Pay & Shift:
- £13.60 per hour (£28,300 per annum)
- Monday to Friday
- 5:00am to 2:00pm
Your key responsibilities:
- Operate a Combi Lift / Side Loader forklift safely to load, unload and move metal stock around the warehouse
- Carry out general warehouse duties, including picking stock, packing and keeping inventory organised
- Work in accordance with all company health and safety procedures and wear the required PPE at all times
- Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and well organised
- Work effectively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of daily warehouse operations
- Identify and report any equipment faults, safety issues or potential hazards
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience operating Forklift - a Side Loader / Combi Lift forklift training can be provided after probation – a current licence is not essential as refresher training can be provided
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
- Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual and able to communicate effectively
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Willing to wear high-vis clothing and safety boots at all times
