This position is in the canteen at King Ed’s College The College catering staff provides homemade hot meals for staff and students within the college environment. This role involves assisting with the cooking of breakfast and lunch, and facilitating smooth daily operations in the kitchen. The position offers term time only. You will be contributing to the effective functioning of college canteen. The successful candidate will demonstrate organisational skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent communication abilities Ideal already come from a canteen environment
Duties . set up and cook breakfast, break and lunch meals
Serve students
Stock up fridges
Qualifications
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. .
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Enthusiasm for working in an educational environment with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Enhanced DBS is an advantage
- Term time only pro rata .
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £12.74-£12.86 per hour
