About the role

Our Major Projects Work Winning team plays a critical role in securing these opportunities by producing compelling, high-quality bid and client materials that reflect our capability, credibility and collaborative approach.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Finance Automations Developer to join our Automations team on a permanent basis. In this role you will be responsible for creating automation tools, primarily to be used within the Finance Operations department, as well as maintaining and providing support for such automation tools across the Finance function, ensuring automations produced are professional, stable, and well-supported..

- Work with the Finance Transformation team, and the Finance Automations
Product Manager, to ensure that automations are built to a common standard
and that relevant documentation is filled out to a professional standard.
- Collaborate with end users to ensure that automations created for usage by
other teams present a good user experience, including meaningful error
messages and a comprehensible user guide.
- Where the responsibility for automated tasks needs to rest within the
Automations team, ensure that timelines are clearly laid out and understood.
Automation Maintenance
- Support the business by providing support for existing automations built by the
Automations team, including bug fixing, troubleshooting, configuration and re-
training.
- Work with the Finance Automations Product Manager to carry out periodic
reviews of previously created automations, updating and/or archiving tools
appropriately when they are no longer fit for purpose.
Centralised Process Automations (Including Robotic and AI-Agentic
Automations)
- Where automations are complex and/or time-sensitive enough that they must
be operated by the Automations team, ensure the timely and consistent delivery
of such.
- Continue to drive “true” automation by converting manually triggered
automation tools into robotically automated processes and/or data pipelines.
- Work with the IT Data Department to convert existing automations for data
transfer into proper data pipelines, making data tables available through the
