We are now looking for a passionate Clinical Pharmacist to join our Cancer Services team and play a key role in delivering safe, effective, and personalised care to our patients.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of oncology and haematology pharmacy practice. You’ll provide a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service, supporting patients throughout their treatment journey while contributing to service development and innovation.
You will also take part in our on-call service, helping ensure the safe and timely provision of medicines outside of standard hours.
What You’ll Be Doing

Deliver a high-quality clinical pharmacy service across oncology and haematology wards
- Clinically screen and final check chemotherapy prescriptions
- Provide expert medicines advice to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals
- Support medicines optimisation on admission and discharge
- Contribute to service development, audits, and quality improvement initiatives
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes
- Participate in dispensary services, including prescription validation and final checking
- Support education and training of colleagues and junior staff
- Contribute to aseptic services, including chemotherapy production and GMP processes
About You
We’re looking for a pharmacist who is committed, collaborative, and eager to develop within a specialist cancer setting.
Essential:

GPhC registered Pharmacist
- Post-registration experience in a UK hospital setting
- Strong clinical knowledge and a patient-centred approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Desirable:

Experience in Oncology/Haematology and aseptic services
- Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Pharmacy (or equivalent experience)
- Non-Medical Prescribing qualification
- Exposure to stem cell transplant or advanced therapies
