As Marketing Executive (Future Students), you will join the Science and Engineering Future Students Marketing team, working closely with academic colleagues and professional services teams across the University. The role plays a vital part in delivering high‑quality, engaging marketing activity that supports targeted, insight-led student recruitment activity in a competitive and fast‑paced environment.
This role offers the opportunity to develop strong delivery‑focused marketing expertise, contribute across the full student recruitment journey, and support key projects, campaigns and events that help prospective students make informed choices about their future at Manchester Met.
Working as part of the Science and Engineering Future Students Marketing team, you will plan and deliver impactful marketing activity that supports recruitment, engagement and conversion.
You will:
- Develop and deliver strategic and tactical marketing activity aligned to the Future Students marketing strategy.
- Manage a portfolio of subject areas, creating a rolling programme of high-quality, audience-focused content.
- Create web, digital and offline content, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance.
- Deliver integrated campaigns, projects and recruitment events, working across multiple channels.
- Coordinate the planning and delivery of recruitment events, including Open Days and conversion events.
- Build strong, proactive relationships with Faculty and internal stakeholders to support subject-specific priorities.
- Use insight, data and performance metrics to inform activity, optimise campaigns and report on outcomes.
- Coordinate and respond to stakeholder requests, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
- Maintain and oversee content systems, ensuring efficient processes and high-quality outputs.
- Act as a brand champion, ensuring all activity meets brand, accessibility and regulatory standards.
We're looking for a proactive and forward-thinking marketing professional with experience delivering integrated campaigns and supporting high-profile events in a fast-paced environment.
You will bring:
Proven experience in a marketing or communications role, including campaign planning and delivery.
Experience planning, promoting and delivering events such as Open Days, recruitment or conversion activities.
Strong copywriting and content production skills across digital and offline channels.
Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and stakeholders effectively.
Confidence using digital platforms, CMS and marketing systems.
Experience using data and insight to inform decisions and evaluate performance.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
A collaborative approach, with confidence working with academic and professional services colleagues.
