Overview
A reliable and skilled maintenance operative responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across Liverpool and a site in Widnes, throughout the weekends. The role involves ensuring properties and facilities remain safe, functional and well-maintained while responding promptly to maintenance issues. Own vehicle and tools is essential.
Responsibilities
- Carry out general building maintenance and repairs.
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and decorating tasks.
- Respond to emergency call-outs and urgent repair requests.
- Complete planned preventative maintenance tasks.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
- Liaise professionally with tenants, guests, contractors and management.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in general property or facilities management
- Good knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, painting and basic knowledge of electrical work.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficient and effectively.
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Full UK driving licence required (to travel between properties).
- Good communication and customer service skills.
Pay: £14.50 per hour
