Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team. In this role, electrical works will be carried out for day-to-day maintenance clients and housing contracts. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
This will be on a self-employed basis. A company van and fuel card will be provided. Please note that due to insurance, a successful candidate must be 25 years of age or older.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify hazards or defects.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and determine the best course of action for repair.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their electrical needs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role.
- Valid electrician’s licence or certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
- Physically able to work on-site.

Pay: £31,200.00-£39,000.00 per year
