Job Summary
We are a dynamic and fast-paced wholesale and importing business specializing in fresh produce.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced warehouse picker/packer role
What You’ll Do:
- Carry out accurate picking, packing and wrapping of customer orders efficiently
- Maintain product quality by handling stock carefully
- Quality check and sorting products accurately to meet the company standards
- Report damaged or substandard products promptly
- Can handle working in the chiller room
- Handle basic admin works for deliveries and returns
- Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and compliant with company standards and other warehouse duties
- Deliveries when needed
What We're Looking For:
- Good attention to details and accuracy
- Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment efficiently
- Basie numeracy and literacy skills
- Strong team player with good communication skills and organisation skills
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
- Previous experience in warehouse and food handling environment (preferred, not essential)
- Operate warehouse equipment (counterbalance and reach truck) is preferred, not essential
- willing to learn to operate warehouse equipment to achieve license
- Knowledge of fresh produce handling desirable
