Shovel, Tug, Class 1 or Class 2 licence holders considered – conversions available for the right candidates.

The Role
As an 8 Wheel Tipper Truck Driver, you’ll play a key role in supporting busy port and logistics operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials across site.
Key Responsibilities
· Safely operate and maintain company HGV and tipper vehicles
· Transport and unload materials in line with safety and operational procedures
· Complete vehicle checks and report maintenance issues promptly
· Accurately complete paperwork, delivery tickets, and driver records
· Plan routes efficiently to support operational performance
· Work closely with the Transport Manager and operational teams
· Maintain high standards of professionalism and safety at all times
· Support fuel efficiency and vehicle care standards
Requirements Essential
· Valid HGV Licence
· Previous experience driving 8 Wheel Tipper Trucks
· Strong understanding of transport and site safety procedures
· Good communication and teamwork skills
· Reliable, flexible, and safety-conscious approach to work
· Ability to work long hours in a fast-paced operational environment
Desirable
· Loading Shovel Licence
· Class 1 (C+E) Licence
· Class 2 Licence
· Tug / Plant / Heavy Machinery experience
· Previous experience in ports, logistics, construction, quarrying, or industrial operations
Hours
· Average 40–60 hours per week
· Monday to Friday
· Weekend rota available
