Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and vigilant Door Supervisor to ensure the safety, security, and smooth operation of our venue. As a key front-line team member, you will be responsible for managing access control, maintaining a secure environment, and providing excellent customer service. Your proactive approach will help create a welcoming atmosphere while safeguarding our premises, staff, and guests. Responsibilities
- Greet and check all visitors, staff, and contractors upon entry, verifying identification and ensuring compliance with venue policies
- Monitor entrances and exits to prevent unauthorized access and maintain crowd control during events or busy periods
- Conduct surveillance using CCTV systems to observe activity around the venue, identifying potential security issues or suspicious behavior
- Perform loss prevention duties by observing for theft or misconduct and intervening appropriately when necessary
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid if required and coordinating with emergency services when needed
- Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and access logs to ensure accurate documentation of security operations
- Enforce venue policies consistently while delivering friendly, professional service to all visitors and staff
Skills
- Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems effectively
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to deter theft and manage crowd behavior
- Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure situations or emergencies
- First aid certification or willingness to obtain training to provide immediate assistance when necessary
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with diverse audiences and team members
- Vigilant attention to detail for monitoring activity and maintaining accurate records
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods as required
