Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter on a CIS basis to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction painting and possess strong communication skills. This role is for 6 months and will be painting rooms in a hotel at Whitley Bay. Drivers license needed. This will be based in Whitley Bay, The royal hotel.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Ensure high-quality finishes by following specifications and adhering to safety standards
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project requirements and timelines
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
- Assist in the planning and execution of painting projects from start to finish
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction painting is preferred
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- A valid driving licence is required for travel to job sites
- Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship
- Drivers License
