Celino's Italian Trattoria in Glasgow’s Eastend G31 3BT are looking for strong chef de partie.
4 day or 5 day working week.
The successful candidate will be:
Confident and dedicated to producing a very high standard of meat, fish and pasta dishes.
A clean and tidy worker, maintaining a professional and respectful work
environment at all times insuring food safety is adhered to and recorded.
Work well with other team members to ensure customers and team satisfaction.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and sanitised.
- Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines at all times.
- Help train new kitchen staff as required, sharing knowledge of culinary techniques and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a chef de partie.
- Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on food preparation techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A genuine passion for cooking and delivering high-quality meals.
