Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Nights Team Member to join our hospitality team during evening hours. This role involves providing exceptional guest services, ensuring smooth operations throughout the night shift, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all visitors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanour, and experience in the hospitality industry. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures
- Handle guest enquiries courteously via phone and in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest satisfaction
- Running night audit and balancing the days revenue
- Setting up meeting rooms for forthcoming functions and events
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of common areas during the night shift
- Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns, ensuring their needs are met efficiently
- Assist with administrative tasks such as updating guest records and processing reservations as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations throughout the night
- Uphold health and safety standards at all times, including adherence to COVID-19 protocols
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel or guest services is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages is advantageous
- Excellent phone etiquette and professional demeanour when interacting with guests and colleagues
- Friendly, approachable attitude with a genuine desire to deliver outstanding hospitality service
- Ability to work independently during night hours and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts on a regular basis, including weekends and public holidays if required
