TP Fire & Security, a BAFE accredited industry leading provider of Fire Protection and Security systems who have been established for over 35 years, are looking for an experienced multi-disciplined fire and security engineer to join the growing company, serving customers of quality and prestige.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in Installation, commissioning, maintenance and fault finding of Fire and Security Systems for an NSI & BAFE registered company
- Competent in the Installation, commissioning, maintenance and fault finding of Fire, Access control systems, Intruder alarms and CCTV systems.
- Competent on Conventional & Addressable fire systems including Advanced, Kentec, Ctec, Morley, Gent, Notifier Vesda etc.
- Experience in the use associated fire and security software.
- Experience with intruder alarms with key experience in Galaxy, Texecom, Eaton etc.
- Experience with IP CCTV systems with key experience in Hikvision, Dahua, Axis and Avigilon etc.
- Experience with Access control systems with key experience in Paxton, ACT Vanderbilt, Grosvenor etc.
- Experience with emergency lighting.
- Must have working knowledge and experience of the current British Standards for fire systems, Intruder alarms, Access control and CCTV.
- Ability to diagnose, repair faults and propose solutions without supervision.
- Must be competent in IT related products for Security and Communication devices and Computer literate in MS Office suite (preferably Word & Excel)
- Take part in the on call rota
- Share experience and knowledge with other team members
DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Qualifications/Experience in BS5839, BS50131, PD6662, BS60839, NCP109, BS8418, BS6276, NCP104 and BS5266/FIA Units preferable
- Training plan provided to keep up with current standards and products.
- Proven IP experience
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Permit to work in the UK (foreign National)
- Must have a full, clean driving licence.
- An ECS or CSCS card is desirable.
- Must be self-motivated, well presented and have diligent work ethic as working remotely from the office.
- Must be able to satisfy vetting to BS7858 and Enhanced DBS checks will be required for this role.
- PASMA and IPAF desirable

- Articulate, with good administration skills.
