Do you know your way around rent setting, service charges, and income compliance — and want a role where you can actually shape how it's done?
We're recruiting on behalf of a Bradford based housing and care provider, and they're looking for a Head of Income Services to lead their income management function.
This is a newly created post — a genuine opportunity to build something, not just inherit it.
You'll be responsible for the full income picture: rent and service charge setting, contractual and grant income, arrears oversight, income-related financial reporting and reconciliation. You'll work closely with the Head of Finance and lead a small rents team, bringing structure, compliance, and clarity to income across the organisation.
What they're looking for:
→ Solid experience in rent and service charge setting within social housing
→ A strong grasp of income streams beyond rent — contractual income, grants, service charges
→ Confidence working with Housing Benefit, local authority teams and commissioners
→ Analytical and numerate — comfortable with data, reporting and Excel
→ Someone who leads with integrity and gets things done
You don't need to be a qualified accountant. You do need to understand how social housing income works — the regulations, the compliance, the detail.
Supported housing experience is a bonus, not a barrier. If you're from general needs housing and have the income expertise, we want to hear from you.
