Job Opportunity: Personal Assistant (Redcar)
We are seeking a friendly, empathetic, and experienced Personal Assistant to support a lady in Redcar in maintaining her independence at home. This role involves assistance with daily living tasks, personal care, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide personal care, including washing and dressing.

Assist with light domestic duties such as meal preparation, hoovering, dusting, and general tidying and organising.

Support the client in accessing the community—enjoying time in the garden, visiting local places, and going out for coffee.

Help with mobility within the home; experience with hoist transfers is highly desirable.

Offer companionship and attentive support tailored to the client’s preferences.

Care for the client’s cat, including feeding and cleaning the litter box.
Ideal Candidate:
-
Reliable and compassionate with a sensitive, person-centred approach.
-
Excellent communication and listening skills.
-
Experience with spinal injuries is an advantage.
-
Must be comfortable around cats.
Working Hours:
Shifts may include full days or split shifts, with opportunities for additional hours to cover holidays and sickness.
