Job Summary
Watermead Day Nursery are looking for an amazing "Superstar" educator. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, passionate and competent childcare team.
We are looking for a highly experienced Early years educator with a good knowledge of Reggio Emilia and The Curiosity Approach who is looking for a new challenge.
You will be working as part of a "Superstar" team.
Your responsibilities are:
- To work in partnership with Senior Management Team.
- To assist with monitoring staff to ensure policies and procedures are being followed.
- To work in partnership with the team.
- To work in partnership with parents/ guardians.
- To promote and encourage a stimulating environment for children following The Curiosity Approach.
- To monitor staff if necessary, mentor and support their development and manage any issues.
- Qualifications and experience:CACHE level 3, NNEB, NVQ level 3 or equivalent
- Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
- Knowledge of Ofsted's welfare standards.
- Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities.
- A passion for delivering outstanding childcare and learning opportunities.
- A positive, approachable disposition.
Job Type / Category
- Maternity cover.
- Full Time- Opportunity to work 4 long days with a rest day.
- This role will be subject to an Enhance DBS and satisfactory references.
