Full time trainee or qualified dental nurse required for a busy, mixed NHS and private practice due to expansion. We are looking for a polite and outgoing person to join our team, who is computer literate. Nurse duties include:
- Setting up and closing down the surgery
- Cleaning and decontaminating instruments
- Disinfecting work surfaces
- Providing chairside assistance during dental treatment
You may also be required to cover reception duties, if needed, which include:
- booking appointments
- answering and making phone calls
- taking payments
Computer system – SOE Exact (training provided on this if required)
Hours – 37.5 hours per week, this would include a "late night" shift on a rota system (approx. every 4-6 weeks) where you would start and finish 1 hour later. We also open one Saturday every month which is usually covered by the same nurse but you may be required to cover
Holidays – 28 including bank holidays
Pay – negotiable depending on experience, minimum wage for trainees but also depending on experience
