What You’ll Be Doing
As part of our dedicated night team, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing compassionate, person-centred care and emotional support to residents during night shifts.
- Assisting residents with personal care and mobility needs while maintaining dignity and independence.
- Carrying out regular wellbeing and safety checks throughout the night.
- Supporting residents who may require reassurance, companionship, or additional care during the night.
- Administering medication in line with company procedures and training.
- Accurately recording care provided and reporting any concerns to senior staff.
- Maintaining a calm, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure high standards of care are consistently delivered.
What We’re Looking For

- Previous experience in a care home, residential care, nursing home, or elderly care setting.
- A caring, patient, and respectful nature.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

- Reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
- The ability to remain calm and attentive during night shifts.
- A genuine passion for supporting older people.
Qualifications
- Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (preferred but not essential).
- Ongoing training and development opportunities may be available for suitable candidates.
