Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning of bus stop areas, including benches, shelters, sidewalks, and surrounding grounds
- Remove litter, debris, and any hazardous materials to keep the environment safe and inviting
- Sweep, wash, or disinfect surfaces to maintain cleanliness standards
- Report any damage or maintenance needs to the appropriate team for prompt repair
- Ensure trash bins are emptied regularly and replaced as needed
- Maintain a consistent cleaning schedule to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as sweeping, lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and safety
- Reliable transportation or ability to access multiple bus stop locations efficiently
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Knowledge of basic cleaning supplies and equipment use is advantageous
