Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Golang Engineer to join our innovative development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services using Go (Golang), ensuring high performance and reliability. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create robust APIs, microservices, and cloud-based solutions that power our cutting-edge applications. Duties
- Develop and optimize backend services and microservices using Golang, adhering to best practices for clean, efficient code.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between front-end interfaces and back-end systems.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate UI components built with frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including planning, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Write comprehensive unit tests and perform debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Work with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure to deploy, monitor, and scale applications effectively.
- Contribute to database design and management using MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Microsoft SQL Server for data storage solutions.
- Engage in Agile methodologies such as Scrum to promote iterative development and continuous improvement.
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
- Excellent knowledge in Golang
- Excellent knowledge in developing microservices & RESTful APIs
- Experience in Kafka
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL database
- Experience developing backend systems
- Excellent leadership and managerial skills
- Experience in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) software development methodology
- Experience with ALM, JIRA
- Good knowledge on DevOps and CI/CD
- Good knowledge on Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience developing resilient, scalable software and writing high quality code
- Good problem solving, analytics, and debugging skills
- Experience in fast-paced collaborating coding environments

Pay: £50,156.10-£80,996.32 per year
