Job description - HGV Class 1 (C+E Required)

Serving every corner of the UK, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, we can deliver to meet the needs of both manufacturers and end users. Your usual place of work will be at Gloucester, Unilever UK, Corinium Avenue, GL4 3BW
Due to rapid growth we are looking to expand our team of Shunters.
The key responsibilities of a Shunter/ office worker include (but not limited to):
- Ensuring the safe movement of trailers around our 55-acre site.
- Adhering to strict health and safety guidelines.
- Completing safety assessments.
- Inspecting vehicles and trailers.
- Coupling and uncoupling trailers.
- Safely parking trailers.
- Checking trailer temperatures.
We are looking for the following shifts:
Saturday - Monday
We need someone to shunt and work in the office on Saturdays and Sundays, Monday would be out driving.
Are you right for the job?
Training will be given to the right candidate however, experience in reversing large vehicles would be desirable. .
