Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cladding Operative to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of cladding systems, contributing to the safe and efficient delivery of projects on time and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Install a variety of cladding systems, including rainscreen, composite, and insulated panels.
- Prepare and set out work areas, ensuring materials and tools are ready and in good condition.
- Work from technical drawings and site plans with accuracy.
- Carry out repairs, maintenance, and replacements of cladding when required.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and access equipment safely and effectively.
- Work at height using scaffolding, MEWPs, and other access platforms in compliance with safety regulations.
- Follow company and site health & safety procedures at all times, including use of PPE.
- Collaborate with site supervisors, project managers, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cladding installation or similar construction trade.
- Strong knowledge of cladding systems, fixings, and façade materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions.
- CSCS card essential.
- IPAF and/or PASMA certification desirable.
- Good understanding of health & safety practices.
- Physically fit and comfortable working at height.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork skills.
