We are looking for an organised and proactive Facilities Coordinator to join our friendly office team.
You will help coordinate facilities services across multiple client sites, ensuring service requests, planned works and reactive jobs are managed efficiently from initial request through to completion.
This is a varied role involving regular communication with clients, contractors, subcontractors and the wider Merco management team.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day facilities services across multiple client sites
- Manage service requests and respond to client enquiries
- Liaise with clients, contractors and subcontractors
- Obtain quotations for maintenance and facilities works
- Support projects from initial quotation through to completion
- Schedule planned maintenance and reactive call-outs
- Maintain accurate facilities records, reports and compliance documents
- Ensure service paperwork is completed and filed correctly
- Monitor service delivery standards and follow up on outstanding work
- Provide regular updates to clients and the management team
- Support the smooth and efficient running of facilities services
- Attend client sites when required
Skills and experience
The successful applicant will be:
- Organised, reliable and able to manage multiple tasks
- A confident and professional communicator
- Comfortable speaking with clients, contractors and suppliers
- Able to prioritise work and meet deadlines
- Positive, proactive and willing to take responsibility
- Confident using email, Microsoft Office and online management systems
- Able to work independently and as part of a supportive team
- Previous facilities management, administration, coordination or customer service experience would be beneficial
Driving requirement
Applicants must hold a valid UK driving licence and be confident and able to drive, as occasional site visits may be required.

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
