Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our family run building and home improvement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting various operational tasks across our site, ensuring smooth workflow and maintaining a safe working environment. Duties
- Keeping site clean and tidy
- Loading and unloading of materials and equipment
- Preparing work areas and ensuring they are clean and safe for operations
- Moving materials, tools, and supplies around the site as required
- Supporting skilled tradespeople and other team members with their tasks on site
- Following instructions from supervisors
- Maintaining health and safety standards in all activities
- Following all safety procedures and reporting any hazards or incidents promptly
Requirements
- Previous site experience in a labouring role is preferred
- Operate hand tools and machinery safely and efficiently
- Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks throughout the day
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Strong attention to safety protocols and procedures
- Flexibility to work in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in a workplace environment
- A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn new skills
- Must hold a full driving license and own vehicle/van would be advantageous
