We are seeking a reliable full time 7.5T driver to work Monday to Friday (including nights out) from our base in Hedge End. A valid UK driving licence appropriate for a 7.5 tonne vehicle is essential along with commercial driving experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for
- daily inspections of the curtain sided vehicle (including tail lift),
- accurate filling in of paperwork relating to the day's collections and deliveries, such as mileage, job number, working hours etc,
- adhering to all relevant safety rules (e.g. securing the load and adhering to weight restrictions)
- following all traffic laws
- Clear and open communication relating to delivery status
