Are you looking for a secure, full-time driving role with local routes, variety, training and real earning potential? Join the expanding MJ Church Recycling team as a HGV Driver for Trade Waste, full training will be provided.

- Hourly starting rate of£16 per hour
- Full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, weekend shifts available too.

About the Role;
- To always be able to legally undertake your driving duties
- To ensure legal requirements for your hours and working time regulations are complied with
- To ensure your vehicle is roadworthy before and during use
- To maintain communication with the traffic office regarding progress of daily work
- To complete all relevant paperwork correctly
- To report any incidents and accidents immediately to the Transport Team
- To always ensure that work is carried out in a responsible and safe manner with no detriment to the Company or its Customers
- Carrying out scheduled trade waste collections from commercial customers
- Servicing wheeled bins and bagged waste collections across a planned route
Working independently on a single-person operated round
Who You Are:
- A valid HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence (Class 1 / C+E also welcome)
- Driver CPC and Digi Tachograph card
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
- Someone reliable, organised, and capable of working using their own initiative.
- Experience of the waste management or construction industry desirable
- Attention to detail
- Be a team player with good communication and customer service skills

Pay: From £16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 47.5 – 55.0 per week
