About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Field Installations Manager to lead and manage our team of skilled kitchen and cabinet installers delivering high-quality bespoke installations across healthcare and public sector environments throughout the UK.
The successful candidate will oversee a team of 6 experienced cabinet and kitchen installers who operate nationwide, completing bespoke kitchen installations within hospitals, schools, healthcare facilities, and other specialist environments.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring someone who understands the installation industry from the ground up. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day performance of the installation team, coordinating nationwide workloads, planning rotas, allocating engineers to projects, ensuring quality standards are maintained, and supporting the team on-site when required.
You will be an experienced installer yourself, capable of stepping onto the tools when needed, while also demonstrating strong leadership, organisation, and people management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of 6 kitchen and cabinet installers working across the UK
- Plan and manage weekly installation schedules, rotas, and engineer allocation
- Coordinate installation teams across multiple sites including hospitals, schools, and healthcare environments
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within specification, and to the highest quality standards
- Monitor team performance, productivity, attendance, and workmanship
- Carry out regular performance reviews and support ongoing development of team members
- Act as the main point of contact between installation teams, project managers, clients, and internal departments
- Resolve operational issues quickly and effectively while maintaining excellent customer relationships
- Conduct site visits to support teams, inspect workmanship, and ensure installation standards are achieved
- Provide hands-on installation support when required, including fitting kitchens, cabinets, worktops, and associated components
About You
You will have;
- A strong background in kitchen installation, cabinet fitting, or bespoke joinery installation
- Previous experience managing or supervising an installation team
- The ability to confidently work on the tools and support installers on-site when required
- Experience planning workloads, managing engineers, and coordinating multiple locations
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK and be able to stay overnight at hotels often (this cost is covered by the employer)
