Care and Support Colleague Night Shifts –31.5 Hours per Week
Location: Parkhaven Trust -The Beeches
Working hours : 31.5 hours over 3 Nights, start time 9.10pm - Finish time 7.40am (we work on a rolling rota which including some weekends)

About the Role
As a Care and Support Colleague, you will work alongside a compassionate multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care tailored to each resident’s individual needs. You will support residents with daily living activities, encourage independence and choice, and help create a warm, welcoming environment where people feel valued, respected, and supported to live well.You will assist them with all aspects of their personal care needs, providing support with respect, dignity, and sensitivity at all times.
Key Responsibilities
· Support People we care for with mobility and other physical disabilities.
· Assist with safe moving and handling, in accordance with training and health and safety guidelines.
· Promote the well-being and general health of the People we care for.
· Help to create a person-centred care environment where each individual feels secure and valued.
· Act as a key worker and advocate, ensuring that peoples needs are met.
· Attend meetings as required by the manager.
· Understand the needs of older and younger people living with dementia and related conditions.
· Communicate effectively with families, and colleagues to promote understanding and trust.
· Provide emotional support and companionship to the People we care for, while encouraging social interaction and engagement.
· Contribute to a positive, caring atmosphere where kindness, patience, and empathy are at the heart of everything you do.

· Have previous care experience (desirable but not essential).
