Overview
We are seeking a reliable, honest and detail-oriented Part Time Domestic Cleaning Operative to join our team operating around Pulborough, West Chiltington, Storrington, Horsham, Shoreham, Henfield, Worthing & Lancing. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals looking to contribute to maintaining high standards of cleanliness across various clients homes. The ideal candidate will possess good communication skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Previous experience is desirable. Cleaning products and equipment will be provided.
Duties
- Perform cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in areas of the clients homes.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all assigned locations
- Use cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively
- Ensure all cleaning duties are completed within scheduled timeframes
- Provide friendly and professional customer service when interacting with clients or visitors
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Experience
- Previous experience in cleaning or related roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and health & safety procedures is beneficial.
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Driving licence and own car is essential.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable manner.
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £16.50 per hour
