Overview
We are looking for passionate and energetic Mat Pilates Instructors to join the new Picante Pilates team in Chertsey.
Picante Pilates is a new contemporary mat Pilates studio built around strength, longevity and community. We believe movement is nourishment and that a strong body and mind help us live a more energetic, fulfilling life.
As a Mat Pilates Instructor, you will deliver engaging, structured classes focused on building strength, improving mobility, enhancing body awareness and helping clients feel confident in their bodies. You’ll play a key role in creating an uplifting studio experience where clients feel supported, challenged and part of a community.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing boutique brand where instructors are valued, supported and encouraged to bring their own personality and teaching style to classes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality contemporary Mat Pilates classes across beginner to advanced levels
- Lead structured, strength-focused sessions with clear progressions and regressions
- Demonstrate excellent technique, alignment, breathwork and controlled movement
- Create an inclusive, welcoming environment where clients feel motivated and supported
- Adapt exercises to suit different abilities, injuries and individual needs
- Build strong relationships with clients and help foster a sense of community
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and energy throughout classes
- Contribute to the wider Picante Pilates community through events, workshops and special sessions
- Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming studio environment
- Continue developing Pilates knowledge, anatomy understanding and teaching skills
Skills & Experience
- Qualified L3 Mat Pilates Instructor with a recognised Pilates certification
- Pre and post natal certification
- Experience teaching group Pilates classes (or similar movement disciplines)
- Strong understanding of anatomy, alignment and safe movement practices
- Confident leading groups with energy, warmth and professionalism
- Ability to coach clients of varying abilities and fitness levels including injuries
- Passion for strength, wellbeing, longevity and helping people feel their best
- Friendly, approachable and community-minded attitude
- Reliable, organised and committed to delivering an exceptional client experience
- Experience teaching in heated environments is a real bonus.
