Duties
- Operate the Certified Plant Competent Supervisor (CPCS) approved screener equipment with precision and safety awareness
- Conduct thorough pre-operation inspections of screening machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Coordinate with ground personnel to facilitate smooth material processing and movement on site
- Maintain accurate records of equipment operation, maintenance checks, and safety procedures
- Assist in setting up and adjusting screening equipment to meet project specifications
- Follow all safety protocols and communicate effectively with team members to prevent accidents or delays
- Support the transportation of materials using commercial driving skills when required, ensuring adherence to road safety regulations
Experience
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery, particularly screening equipment or similar construction machinery
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on screening units and related equipment
- Valid CPCS certification or equivalent accreditation for screener operation
- Experience with commercial driving, including safe handling and transportation of materials or equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and efficiency
Pay: £23.00-£25.00 per hour
