About the Role:
We welcome applications for the following roles within the School of Fashion and Creative Industries Management:

These roles within the School of Fashion and Creative Industries Management are school-based rather than course-based. This supports the structure of the school which has a high proportion of shared units and cross-resourcing. The associated person specification for each role sets out the knowledge and skills required for each post, which have alignment to course areas within the school, but do not restrict academic teaching and duties to one course.
You will be working as part of a dedicated school team who have an open-minded approach to Fashion and the Creative Industries and how they continue to evolve, so you will need to be flexible in your methods of academic practice and committed to student-centred teaching and learning.
We are particularly interested in candidates with a collaborative approach to teaching and learning, who are digitally confident and understand connections between subject areas within the school.
AUB works closely with industry partners, and you will be expected to build on collaborations and new links relevant to client projects and guest talks. Such industry links may also provide opportunities for staff and student research, projects, and knowledge exchange.
You will have experience within one or more of the course areas: Fashion Design, Creative Direction, Media Marketing and Advertising, or Content Creation, and be capable of meeting the demands of teaching at degree level. You will need to be able to develop teaching materials, deliver inspiring lectures, seminars, and workshops, and be actively involved in the assessment process.
You will need to be highly motivated, enthusiastic, and well-informed to teach on our courses.
Please note this application is for the post of Part Time Lecturer in Fashion, Fixed Term until April 2027.
