✅WHAT YOU'LL DO
As the Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for leading and supporting all Health, Safety, Environmental (HSE) and Business Continuity Management (BCM) activities across the site.
- Providing HSE & BCM advice, guidance, and support to enable the site to comply with all relevant statutory legislation.
- Driving business standardisation and supporting continued adherence to the Health & Safety Management System (HSMS) and other relevant HSE & BCM policies.
- Delivering annual Safety, Health and Environmental objectives, measured through the performance management system.
- Assisting the central HSE function in delivering wider functional and business objectives.
- Coordinating and supporting the management team to take ownership of all HSE & BCM actions, initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.
- Monitoring site compliance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and driving corrective actions where required.
- Promoting a proactive safety culture through coaching, engagement, and visible leadership.
✅WHAT YOU'LL BRING
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
- NEBOSH National General Certificate (essential).
- Previous experience working within an operational Health & Safety role.
- Experience of managing Health & Safety responsibilities within warehouse and transport environments.
- A target-focused approach with the ability to deliver standardised programmes and initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the business.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage your own workload.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
